| Personal view: | Lagavulin - what a whisky. This is my absolute favorite. All the advantages of Islay combined with a roundedness, perfection, so full, so complex. Visiting the distillery where this greatest of great whisky is made - what a dream. But it has to stay a dream for me, for the most part, because on weekends the distillery is closed. Oh man. |
