Personal view: | Tomatin was the second Scottish distillery we saw, and the first we went in. It is one of the largest two distilleries of Scotland (the other being Glenfiddich), and was the largest some 30 years ago. |
Shopping and tour: | Our first visitor centre. We also had our first tasting, somehow unexpected but very welcome. Still, the Tomatin whisky is not exactly what we like most, too smooth, too easy, too light, so we did not buy a bottle, but Thomas and Dani began their collection of tot glasses. |
