Personal view: | We have a 15-year Bruichladdich since about two years in our collection. It is a complex, typical, but not extreme, Islay whisky: peat and fire, spicy, fruity, ... |
Shopping and tour: | We made the tour and it was definitely great. The complete site is in consistent colors (corporate identity like it should be). Some of the equipment and machinery is very old, like the wooden transportation facility. They try to use the old process as original as possible. No colouring, no chill-filtering. And they have their own bottling (the only one on Islay). |
