Our cats were born on 21^th June 1998 in our living room where I prepared some days before a box with a white T-shirt in it. Its was Sunday afternoon and a hot day. Tina, the mother cat, was really excited and wanted us to stay with her in the afternoon. She seemed to feel that her first birth would not be without troubles. In fact her first baby-cat did not come with its head first but with one of its back legs. We pulled the whole little cat slowly and carefully into its new life. The other three were born without any problems. After about four hours Tina was a mother of four(!) sweet little tom-cats. All children of the neighbourhood came to see the young mother and her lovely babies.

The names of the four little cats are the names of our first single malt whiskies in order of their birth:
Macallen (nickname: Mac), Lagavulin (nickname: Fully), Glenfiddich Sylvester Alien (nickname: Fiddy), and Cardhu.
